On Thursday 3 November, the middle syndicate tamariki travelled to Maraeroa Marae in Porirua for a day of activities and cultural experiences.  On Friday it was back to school as they took part in workshops on waiata, poi, practice for ti rākau, titïtōrea and string.  

After lunch parents were welcomed by a pōwhiri onto the School grounds. Our tamariki then gave them a demonstration of skills they learned during their Marae Tikanga Experience.  Ka pai to Jo Staite and her team, Jenny W, Tiaoyan, Ashley and Sarah-Grace for all their mahi that went into the preparation for this event.
