This is our first Board Shorts of 2024 so we'd like to say welcome back; it's fantastic to see all our tamariki, kaimahi and whānau back at school. We are looking forward to catching up with you all at the Colour Run on 24 March, look out for your friendly Board members on the sausage sizzle.
The Board recently reviewed the school's academic achievement for 2023, the results were excellent and reflect the incredible work of our tamariki and kaiako. Mahi tika ana! In February's meeting we bid farewell to long time board member and Board Chair David Miller. We would like to pass on our heartfelt thanks to David for his dedication, guidance and support throughout his time on the Board. David, your contributions to the school have made a real difference and you will be missed. With David's resignation we have a casual vacancy on the School Board which we are proposing to fill via a selection, further details on this process can be found in the newsletter and we will keep you updated on progress.The board has elected Richard Barrett as the new Board Chair, congratulations Richard we're all looking forward to working with you and supporting you in this role.
