Swimming, Tennis, Inter-Regional Cross Country

Inter-Regional Cross Country:

Wow, we have one extremely speedy cross country runner amongst us. Congratulations to Millie in Year 6 who finished 12th at the Inter-Regional Cross Country event which was held in Christchurch at the end of Term 3. Millie travelled to Christchurch as part of the Wellington team. Millie also picked up a bronze medal for being part of the Wellington team which finished third. What an amazing achievement. We are super proud.

Swimming:

Ka pai to our awesome swimmers who swam their best at the Interzone Swimming competition at the end of Term 3.  Wow, our Year 6 girls were super speedy and came first as did Olympia in the 25m Freestyle!  The results are as follows:

Jamie - 3rd - 50m Freestyle, 2nd - 25m Freestyle

Fletcher - 8th - 50m Freestyle, 5th - 25m Freestyle

Sienna BP - 7th 50m Freestyle, 5th - 25m Backstroke, 7th - 25m Butterfly, 10th - 25m Freestyle and 1st - Year 6 girls relay

Sophia - 10th - 50m Freestyle, 4th 25m Backstroke, 8th - 25m Breaststroke, 5th - 25m Butterfly, 6th - 25m Freestyle and 1st - Year 6 girls relay

Oliver H - 9th - 50m Freestyle, 5th - 25m Backstroke, 3rd - 25m Butterfly and 2nd - Year 6 Boys relay

Daniel Y - 7th - 25m Backstroke, 10th - 25m Breaststroke

Tommy - 7th - 25m Breastroke and 2nd - Year 6 Boys relay

Will - 3rd - 25m Backstroke, 4th - 25m Butterfly and 2nd - Year 6 Boys Relay

Rhys - 8th 25m Freestyle and 2nd Year 6 Boys Relay

Zoe M & Sylvie S - 1st Year 6 Girls Relay

Tennis:

Ka pai to Sienna BP, Olivia M, Oliver H, Bradley, Tommy and Daniel Y who participated in the Primary Schools Tennis tournament at the end of last term.  Congratulations to Olivia who was runner up in the Year 5 & 6 Competition.

The primary boys draw was so big it was split into three categories - elite, gold and silver.  Ka pai Bradley who was runner up in the gold draw, Oliver who won the elite consolation final and Daniel who won the silver consolation final.
