Ka pai to teachers Jenny Neill and Jenny Williams for all their organisation and mahi with celebrating Matariki.  The day began with the rise of Matariki in the sky, reminiscing on the year just gone and looking forward to the start of a new year.  This was followed by kai.  It was fantastic to see so many of our community attending.  

Our tamariki spent the morning in different workshops.  There was weaving, creating lanterns, preparing kai, astronomy, poi making, waiata, making kites and gardening. Ngā mihi to our parent helpers.
