 Writing:

The following is written and typed by Year 2 student, Daniel about the recent junior ASB Trip.

The ASB Trip

On Tuesday, rooms 1, 2, 3, 4, 14 and 15 went to the ASB Sports Center for fun.

When I got to school everyone was full of excitement! I couldn’t wait to get there. We only took our lunch box and drink bottle for the trip.

When the bus came, I felt like I was going to burst into tears!

As we got into the bus Sarah told us which seat we would sit in. I sat next to Shrishti. As the bus got ready to go, I screamed with excitement.

When we got there Sarah said ”We are here!” with a flood of excitement.

When we were there, we got a snack then got into our groups ready for our sports rotation!

We played Badminton, Dodgeball, Football, Gymnastics and the Bouncy Castle. My favourite one was Badminton because you get to throw it.

When we finished the sports rotation we packed up ready to go back to school. When we got back to school we got ready to go home.

I wondered if I would go again. I was sad because we finished the ASB trip.
