Process to Appoint a New Principal

The Board is well underway with plans to appoint a new Principal for next year. As part of the process we plan to seek feedback from students, staff and our wider community about the qualities that you would value in the incoming Principal. Keep an eye out for a short survey which will be emailed out soon!

Board Elections

Nominations for parent representatives on the Board of Trustees closed at noon on Wednesday 3 August. We received three nominations for the three available positions meaning no vote was required. So congratulations and welcome to our new Board members, Krish Amirthalingam and Emma Bonner, and we are really pleased that our Board Chair David Miller, has been re-elected too. In the staff election, we are really pleased that Tricia Will will continue on as our staff representative, a really critical role on our Board – thanks Tricia!

A huge thank you to Kate Redgewell who is finishing up her time with the Board – Kate’s contribution has been massive, providing a wide range of pragmatic and holistic advice throughout her term and always bringing energy and ideas to make our school a better place. And finally a massive shout out to Sonia Glen, our Returning Officer, who put in a huge amount of work to make the election process run smoothly!

The new board will meet for the first time in September.

Thanks to our Home and School Committee

After a long, wet winter impacted by COVID-19 and various other colds, flus and bugs, we are really looking forward to reconnecting over a range of upcoming community events. A big thank you to our Home and School Committee who are organising our upcoming quiz night (16 September) and a reminder that orders close for school hoodies on 12 August!
