Room 16's Garden Challenge
Room 16's Kaitaiki Challenge from Miss Christie. The following article has been written by Phoebe & Isabella.
Recently a group from Room 16 had a Kaitiaki challenge from Miss Christie to do some gardening with a budget. We measured the dirt patch in front of Jo's office and then chose a range of flowers that we would like to plant. We chose some colourful flowers that stand out. Here are examples of the flowers that we have chosen to plant:
Poached egg flowers
Alyssum
Virginian stock
Sunflowers
Poppies
These are all beautiful flowers that we thought the little juniors would like so they will take care of them. We also made sure that all of the flowers would get sunlight for different times of the day.
