As many of you may know, primary school teachers and principals are negotiating their pay and work conditions with the government at the moment.

On Tuesday 28th February, many of our teachers are attending a PAID UNION MEETING in Porirua at 2.00 p.m. Therefore we are asking for your support. If possible, we ask that parents collect their child between 1:00 pm and 1:15 pm from the classroom to allow staff to get to this meeting. A small number of staff will remain for those parents who are unable to collect their child/ren. We will send a form in the next few days for you to complete if you require supervision for your child whilst teachers are attending the meeting. Note that this is the same date that Raroa teachers are also attending their Paid Union Meetings. Thank you for your support!
