Welcome to Term 4, and a warm welcome to our new whānau this term.

The keywords from our vision statement were palpable during our professional learning day in the recent term break.  The day was spent with teachers presenting their journey of learning this year.  Their focus was on an area of their interest connected to our vision and capabilities, for example, hybrid learning.  Teachers collaborated with others also curious in the chosen areas. 

The presentations portrayed our teachers as learners keen to be risk takers and explore future focused educational concepts.  The examples of shifts in student outcomes in the Learning Capabilities were awesome!  For example, we've seen our students be active citizens improving their environments or changing the behaviour of others to protect environments.  I'm very proud of the explicit examples of curiosity and creativity!
