Scholastic Book Club, Student Librarians and Returns & Stocktake

Scholastic Book Club and deliveries:
A huge thank you to all the families who have supported the Cashmere Avenue School Library this year by ordering from the Scholastic Book Club. Every $1 you spend rewards our library so we can purchase books for free! We have tried this year to really focus on book requests from our students and it has been awesome to hear and see the excitement when a new book arrives into the library and becomes available for issuing - so a huge thank you to all for making this possible.

We are still waiting on a huge order to arrive from Scholastic, which is one reason why we close our orders earlier than other schools as we try to beat the rush of deliveries! Don't stress if you are still waiting for your order, it will hopefully arrive very soon. Feel free to drop in to see us or send an email to library@cashmere-ave.school.nz if you have any questions. Don't worry though, we do make sure we go through every single order and make sure no delivery is missed!

Year 6 Student Librarian Applications close this Friday:

It is that time of year where we are seeking out the new fabulous librarians of 2024, they have big shoes to fill! Due to demand, this is strictly a Year 6 opportunity only. Returns and Stocktake:

Next week is the last week of issuing, and week 7 is returns only. This means ALL books must come back to the library in week 7 as we get ready to close for 2 weeks for stocktake. We do appreciate your support during this time.
