New Learning Space
2021 has been a fantastic year for the faculty of Mathematics and Statistics. We have moved into our new classroom block and students and staff could not be happier with the purpose-built, calm, flexible new space.
Kia Kaha te Reo Māori
As a faculty, this year we have been continuing our journey to improve our knowledge of Te Reo and Te Ao Māori. We have integrated whakataukī to guide curriculum units, worked together to improve our vocabulary in weekly faculty meetings and are exploring ways to add more culturally responsive pedagogy and content into teaching programmes. We were honoured to receive the Teimana Bennett trophy for our efforts during Te Wiki o te Reo Māori.
