Cashmere Tops Cricket Qualifier

The Cashmere Boys' 1st XI cricket team has qualified for the National Gillette Cricket Tournament after an outstanding performance in the group stage. Winning against Hillmorton, Shirley Boys, Riccarton, and Papanui, with only a narrow loss to Burnside, the Cashmere team finished at the top of the table. A huge credit goes to coaches Mr. Weggery and Mr. Knowles for their guidance and support in leading the team to success.

Beach Volleyball National Championships

Over the past weekend, seven teams proudly represented Cashmere at the National Secondary Schools Beach Volleyball Championships at Mount Maunganui. While we did not secure titles, our teams delivered excellent performances, finishing within the top four nationally.

Notably, Cashmere was one of only two schools to reach the semi-finals in both the boys’ and girls’ divisions.

Boys Division 1
Cruz Mahauariki & Will Hull – 4th place

Girls Division 1
Louisa Chretien & Fenella Chittock – 4th place

A sincere thank you to all the parents, staff, and our Teacher in Charge, Luke Hulston, for their invaluable support throughout the tournament.
