On Friday the sun shone for the annual school team relay at Macleans Island MTB park. 

540 school children (years 5-8) from across Canterbury took part - CPS had 11 teams (of 2) this year and 1 solo rider. Each lap is just over 4km and the teams/riders do as many laps as they can within 3 hrs. There were heaps of muddy puddles and heaps of smiling faces – children and parents had an awesome day!
