Last Wednesday we had 14 students participate in the Huxster MTB race at Mcleans Island. 12 with our school and two attended with friends from other schools.

The following article has been written by Charlie Burns on behalf of the attendees. 

On Wednesday the 4th of March a group of Cashmere Primary kids competed in the Huxster Mountain bike race at McLeans Island.

This challenge was a team event. Teams of two people raced as fast as they could around an eight km circuit, completing as many laps as they could for 3 hours.

Kids from both South & Mid Canterbury were entered and there were 261 teams there on the day.

IT WAS AWESOME !

Year 7/8
