From our Principal - Thank you

Gavin Burn —

Please take the time to read this brief message from our principal, acknowledging the great things that have been happening this term.

Kia ora Whānau

Firstly, thank you to you all! Thank you for your continued support of the school and most importantly for your continued support, engagement and involvement in your child's learning.

Thank you also to our staff, PTA and BOT for your professionalism and commitment to making our school the best that it can be.  We have had a massive term with so many things going on, both in our school and in the wider community and it is the support that we have given each other that has enabled us to achieve so much in such a busy term.  The relationships that we have across the school and community certainly contribute to the culture and feel of the school and make Cashmere Primary School the special place that it is.

I would also like to acknowledge and thank the Ministry of Education and the wider project team ( especially HRS Construction) who have contributed and continue to contribute so much to our schools redevelopment. We are all extremely proud of the learning environment that we have and we know that this enhances our teaching and learning programmes.

Finally I wish to thank all Whānau who attended our Whānau Tours last week. The feedback we received was so positive and reinforces what we, as staff see every day.  Most parents and visitors highlighted how different and great it was to see the learning spaces during 'learning time' compared to that of drop off and pick up. If you missed the opportunity to  visit or have further questions please feel to contact me any time.  Thanks also to the Friends of the PTA for the wonderful baking that provided our morning teas after the tours.

Have a safe and enjoyable school holiday everyone.

Ngā mihi nui
