Previously these have been called "Special Groups". Applications and auditions are now open for singers and instrumentalists, and close on April 14th.

Applications for individual singers and instrumentalists to audition for one of the Festival’s Representative Groups – Junior or Senior Choir, Concert Band, Orchestra – are now open. This is the opportunity for singers and instrumentalists to achieve at the highest level of performance and to excel in their chosen area of artistic endeavour.

The festival website musicfestival.school.nz has all the information and application form is available. There is information on the website that will answer every question of a parent or potential participant.

There is no longer a 'code' required for entry, however if you would like to let me know that your child is applying, I would like to know!
