Online Maths Programmes at Cashmere Primary Te Pae Kererū
We are currently reviewing online Mathematics programme options offered at Cashmere Primary Te Pae Kererū.
These programmes are used to support Mathematics learning at school and at home.
We are aware that these programmes are an investment and would like some feedback from whānau as to which programme is preferred, with the intention of offering the same programme across the school in the future.

Sumdog - Approximate cost $8
Sumdog provides engaging adaptive learning games for mathematics. Practice activities are adapted for each individual depending on their next steps. Sumdog provides follow up practice for what is learned at school. The main point of difference (aside from the cost) is that there is no video or audio lesson content aligned with each game or activity however, it is aligned to the New Zealand Curriculum.

Mathletics follows a learn, play, review process.
Learn - Students have access to a full set of curriculum activities, aligned with the New Zealand Curriculum, backed up by interactive tutorials and print-based materials.
Play - The cornerstone of Mathletics’ success is its ability to engage students. Games and apps in the Play area target maths fluency.
Review - Empowers learners to review their own learning and identify next steps.

Maths Buddy - Approximate cost - $26
Maths Buddy offers activities for practising basic facts, numeracy strategies and maths strands (geometry, statistics and measurement). Maths Buddy lessons have been aligned to our curriculum objectives in the New Zealand Curriculum. Every objective is supported by a video or audio lesson and a follow-up activity online.
