The Cashmere Stars Miniball team made it through to the finals for their competition last week and put in a sterling effort against a more experienced team.

The first half was a even matched game with the Cashmere Stars giving it their best shot but unfortunately the Pioneer Young Ones manged to keep the pressure on and won the game. This team started with little or no skills in basketball and gradually built up theirs skills over the term. They all wanted to learn and consequently made huge advances with their skills. I look forward to coaching this spirited team in Term Four!
