On Wednesday the 1st of November adults volunteered to take us to a summer Futsal tournament in South Hagley Park.

Cashmere Blue was just 1 of 8 teams who competed. Cashmere blue had many amazing players- Sam Aitken, Ashwin Thomas, James Kelly, Xavier Tapsell, Miles Clayton, Lucas Gould and Ezra Holmes. The teams we played in our pool were Cotswold B (we won 7-0), Prebbleton A (11-0) and Emmanuel (9-1). But in the semifinals we only won 1-0 against Avonhead and had a sad loss in the final 1-3 against Cotswold A. This was a great experience- ending up in an awesome place second after Cotswold A. We would like to thank the parents Sarah, Emma, Maria and Joanna for driving the players to and from the park. We would also like to give a huge thank you to Mr G and Kelly who helped out all day.
