PCT-(Police Course Training) Challenge

Katua —

This week on the 27th March Monday , two teams representing Cashmere Primary School participated in the PCT-(Police course training) challenge. It consisted of many events and activities including Zumba, Laser, Minefield, Youth Town, YAT and a free sausage sizzle, many schools were competing and we had 2 teams in the epic competition.

The school teams were lead into Cowles Stadium where they had a short briefing on what to do and where to go, everyone was given different sheets which told them which order the events were held so each team versed different teams and vice versa. The main course itself had elongated steel walls, fence, bench, hurdles and beams that the team’s had to conquer and it was all timed overall it was a fun experience but sadly none of the Cashmere teams made it.

The winning team was given free flights and accommodation in Wellington. Although not getting top three both Cashmere teams showed good fair play, teamwork and overall loved the experience.

Thank you to Eric To and Melissa Abelard for transporting and supervising us and Mr Jack for organising.

The two teams consisted of :

Cashmere 1

Emma M, Thomas T, Olivia A, Ben S

Cashmere 2

Marcus, Zach, Sophia, Polly
