Read more for an update - there is heaps going on!

We have had our first meeting for the Cashmere Primary School Twilight Fair 2017. It was a great opportunity for the Fair Committee to review the very positive and constructive survey results from last year’s fabulous Twilight Fair.

There was a very high response rate and lots of excellent feedback. Contact the Fair Committee directly if you want to view the full results or even better come along to one of our meetings to help us action some of these great ideas!

Some of the points made that we will be acting on...

• There will be more supervised activities for the children.  For this we need lots of parent help! And more creative ideas or activities!
  
• More goodies for children to spend their money on. Please share your ideas with us!
  
• A map of the stalls on site at the entrances.
  
• More food will be available - both cheaper and more expensive - as respondents requested both.
  
• A bigger and better (and more visible!) silent auction.  Please let us know if you have a holiday house or other ideas of items to donate to this.

To do all this we need your continued help and support! 

• Ask around for any small baby food jars and drop them into the office.
  
• Own a business? Support the school fundraising effort (email us and we can send out our sponsorship pack) and/or donate a prize for our raffle or silent auction!
  
• Plant some seeds in pots now to sell at our plant stall!
  
• Put aside a jar of that delicious feijoa jam or plum preserve you've just made for our jam and preserve stall!
  

Closer to the time we will be asking for people to sell raffle tickets, make some baking and give an hour on a stall or as part of the set up and pack down on the day.

The next Twilight Fair Committee meeting is Thursday 22 June at 7pm in the learning support room opposite the staff room. Everyone is welcome and there will be chocolate!
