The Buddy Zone

Community —

The Buddy Zone aims to provide a safe and fun learning environment for children with social deficits, social anxiety and self-confidence issues. The Buddy Zone will enable children to feel comfortable and socially accepted without feeling misunderstood.

As we know, some children struggle to be socially adept whilst other have various social challenges. Some children have low self-confidence and struggle with anxiety issues. The Buddy Zone program is designed to enable the children to increase their self-confidence and experiences whilst creating positive relationships.

The Buddy Zone groups are held once a week at the Halswell Library ,Te Hapau Piharau business suites. The groups comprise of a maximum of 10 children per session.

Each week the children will work through a specialised programme that focuses on learning new team building and problem solving skills. This will be presented through fun and interactive activities.

The ethos of The Buddy Zone is to promote the children’s awareness of themselves, increase self-esteem whilst learning to develop and maintain friendships.

To secure a placement for your child please contact me to receive a registration pack.

If you have any questions please feel free to contact me, I would be happy to discuss your child’s needs.
