Enrolments

Kirsty Brownlie —

Starting school is an exciting time for children and their whānau.

At Cashmere Primary Te Pae Kererū we work hard to ensure each child has a successful transition to school. We look forward to establishing a positive relationship with you, your family and your child. Please contact the school office to organise a meeting with a member of the Senior Leadership team or Admin team prior to your child beginning school.

Enrolment Procedures

To help with our planning, we encourage you to enrol your child at least 12 months before they start school. Early enrolment helps to ensure a smooth transition process for the children and means you will receive school communication regarding Turning 5 Seminars and visits to school.

When enrolling at Cashmere Primary Te Pae Kererū,  you will need to bring a copy of your child’s birth certificate or passport, a copy of their immunisation certificate and proof that you live within our enrolment zone (power bill or rates statement see the Home zone page for more information.

Pre-Entry Visits for New -Entrants

The New Entrant teacher will contact you approximately 4 weeks before your child’s fifth birthday, so there is time for two pre-entry visits before starting school. Additional visits can be arranged if necessary.

Changing Contact Details

Whenever there is a change of address, home or business telephone numbers, important medical information, or family circumstances, please inform the school promptly. Out of date information can mean that we are unable to contact you in an emergency.
