This week we went to Pioneer Stadium to represent Cashmere Primary in the Year 7-8 Korfball tournament.

A week before people tried to enter the team’s, only ten girls and ten boys were selected. Two teams represented Cashmere Primary and eighteen teams competed overall.

Each team had 7 games to play. Cashmere White won two games and came 17th and Cashmere Blue won 2 and tied two and finished 8th!

One team leader was selected for each team. The team leader had the responsibility of insuring where everyone should go and do. The leader also had to support the team while playing.

We had a fantastic day as it was our first time playing and going to the tournament.
