On Friday the school was a sea of blue, green, red and yellow, as we wore our House T shirts for the day and had a coin trail to raise funds for Kaikoura and surrounding areas hit by the recent earthquakes. 

Thank you to the House Captains and Deputies for organising coin trail drawings, running the trail, collecting the money and counting it. They did a superb job. Thank you also all those parents who supported it by sending along the gold coin and to the many parents who dropped in extra money to the office. We all know what a worthwhile cause this is and we raised $875.40. This money will go to the Red Cross to continue to fund the great work they do. Our thoughts go to all those affected by the earthquakes.
