2017 Year 8 Trip to Wellington
Since 2000 our year 8's have spent a week experiencing an urban camp in Wellington for their second to last week of school.
This is fabulous way for the students to end their time at Cashmere Primary School. Many of them have been together for 8 years and it is an opportunity for them to cement friendships before they venture off to high school and explore all the capital city has to offer. In the past the activities have included, a visit to parliament to see the politicians in action, a guided tour of Te Papa which gives them a chance to explore the national museum, the zoo, kayaking, rock climbing, Capital E where they produce a TV show, the tram and other city based activities. Our year 8 children look forward to this trip as your children will in the future.
