The Term 4 juggernaut rolls on!

Mr Simon Lean-Massey —

Term 4 is flying by, and there are trips, projects, and energetic children everywhere.

Well, we are fast rocketing towards the end of the year with no sign of slowing - quite the reverse. We have been doing a lot, and there is plenty to come.

After the assessment season, we are looking forward to wrapping up the year with lots of fun activities and celebrations. Houses are readying themselves for our annual House Singing Competition, the senior boys' cricket team is preparing to do battle with Cobham this Thursday, and planning has commenced for the BOSS Fair in week 9. We are also (weather permitting) looking forward to our final Xtend session this Friday.

The Year 6 and 7 science classes have been looking at the health of the Avon/Otakaro River with the help of EOS and local kayak hire businesses. You can see a sample of our exploration and investigation below.

A huge thank you to Mrs Gray and Mrs Edmond for organising the triumphant Art Exhibition once again. Mrs Gray then backed up this week with the Year 7s to share their wonderful Wearable Art. Year 7s also have Leadership Week next week and the Year 8s have found time for a couple of days of sailing, paintballing, and swimming.
