The Year 7 students performed their Wearable Art show at school yesterday.

This year their theme was “Eco-Warrior” which they decided meant being actively involved in preventing damage to the environment. Everyone had a different take on how they saw this theme relating to themselves, and we had some wonderful costumes covering a range of topics such as ocean pollution, deforestation, native birds, sea creatures, mythical creatures, climate change, and gardens. The show was a great success and there were some really thought provoking messages about looking after our environment. 

Congratulations to all of the Year 7s who worked independently for 5 weeks to create their costumes,  and then showcased them in such an entertaining manner.
