Welcome back to all Junior School families. A particularly warm welcome to the new children in the Junior School: Ethan Cowles, Freddie de Costobadie, Richard Gan, Amelie Donnithorne, Bianca Donnithorne, Emma Zhang, Bella Mauger-Speers, Liam Niu, Aerin Wang and Timmy Shen.

We have such a busy term ahead! We began on the first Wednesday back with the most amazing African drummers who could also dance extremely energetically. The children had a lot of fun joining in and watching the teachers being coaxed up to also have a go. Some of the teachers had to contribute to the jumping dance with a low impact version!

Transition visits are beginning for our Y3 children going through to Y4 next year and also for our brand new children starting their new venture into our Junior School. Transition visits help to smooth the journey for children particularly if they are feeling a little anxious about next year. It allows them to begin developing a positive relationship with their next teacher and gives them the opportunity to form new friendships with their 2018 classmates. 

Cyber Safety & IT Info Evening Tomorrow

All parents are warmly invited to join us tomorrow in the hall at 7.00pm. The evening begins with a presentation from Janelle Riki-Waaka from the Learning with Digital Technologies team at CORE Education. Janelle will speak for 45minutes.

After this, staff from Grammar and Cyclone Computers will outline key information about our Devices Programme for 2018.
