Girls' & Boys' Prep School

Ms Kirsty Bond & Mr Owen Foster —

Despite it being the final week of the term, the activities at Cathedral Grammar show no signs of slowing down.

WOW! WAMM
What a brilliant performance on Friday night at WAMM! Though we only had a short time to pull this together, the performance was polished and professional, entertaining and engaging, and both memorable and magnificent. The poise and confidence of the Y7&8 performers shone through, and all of the behind-the-scenes hard work that went into the show truly made it an outstanding performance.

Music Competitions
Congratulations to all our finalists in this week’s Music Finals. Music is such an important part of what makes Cathedral Grammar what it is, and so it is truly wonderful to see the talent on show.

House Soccer-Girls’ School
A competitive House soccer competition for both the Boys’ and Girls’ School was held recently.

With much excitement and lots of colourful fun, the Girls’ School competition took place at school. Whilst results were relatively even in the Junior competition, Hart dominated the Senior competition and duly won the Botting Cup. The overall results were:

  • Hart 1st
  • Connon 2nd
  • Mullan 3rd
  • Dell 4th

Well done to our Y8 girls for demonstrating great leadership skills last Thursday morning by helping the Junior School pupils with poi making.

A reminder that this Friday we have our Winter Sports and Cultural Assembly starting at 1.45pm.  Parents are most welcome to attend.
