The Girls' & Boys' Prep Schools have had a fabulous start to the new school year. 

Before the start of the Prep School timetable there was an emphasis on establishing and developing relationships. The teachers worked hard to provide activities to get to know their class, set up routines and have some fun. The Y7 & 8’s were lucky enough to go to Jellie Park on one of the hottest days of the year to enjoy the hydro-slides and have some water fun. 

We know that the entire Grammar community will want to join us in welcoming a considerable number of new students to the Prep School. These students are already showing how well they have embraced our high standards, and the supportive, fun environment. Welcome to Spencer, Joy, Tor, Naomi, Chloe, Lucas, William, Luke, Lachlan, Harry, Olivia, Finn, Hugo, Milton, and Mariella. 

Our Y8 Leaders have stepped up into their roles admirably and provided lots of opportunities to make new pupils feel welcome and develop some real House spirit. Special mention to the leaders who nurtured and mentored the younger swimmers in the swimming heats. This can be an anxious time for some, and it was very pleasing to see the younger pupils go to their leaders for support and advice. We look forward to more of the same at the finals this week alongside the impressive swimming and positive attitudes - Girls’ on Wednesday; Boys’ on Thursday.
