Pre-School
Ms Libby Avery - July 3, 2018
This term we have welcomed Cooper, Selene, Quinn, Sean, Danny, Louis, Thomas and Sydney and are looking forward to welcoming several new children in Term 3.
We have two children graduating this week, ready to start their next learning adventure. Graduation is such a special time, not only for the child graduating but also for their families. The children enjoy remembering and revisiting their wonderful learning they have taken part in during their time in Pre-School. We like to celebrate with a presentation of their profile book, a certificate, a graduation candle, wearing of the cloak and also watching a special video, which each child gets made about their time with us. We wish Lennox and Mika all the best for their future, and cannot wait to hear all about their time in Junior School.
Today we also said farewell to our wonderful tutors - Mr Manning and Miss V. Pre-School presented them with kiwiana gifts to remember their time with us. We think they really liked the gifts and I am sure they are a little teary saying goodbye to all of the Cathedral Grammar pupils. Whilst we are looking forward to meeting our new tutors in Term 3 we are going to miss these two very much. Jack wants to know "if the new ones will play hide and seek with us".
Thursday is Donna Cox's last day teaching yoga in the Pre-School. Donna has been with us for 18 months and her Little Yogi programme has proven to be very beneficial to our programme. Donna is moving to Brisbane with her family and we wish her all the best in the years ahead. Lauren will be joining us next term to lead our yoga sessions.
