Last Wednesday evening two Y8 teams competed in the Christchurch section of the Otago Daily Times Current Events Quiz

This event tests students’ knowledge of the geography of the world, history of NZ, current issues that affect our lives, and people who are prominent in society. 

There were 10 rounds ranging from the identification of flags to the interpretation of cartoons. The boys’ team of Gregory, Alex and Benedykt  finished a very creditable 4th out of 52 teams, while the girls’ team of Nina, Victoria and Una  finished mid-way in the field.
