Ms Brigit McCormack —

Good Moral Citizens

With the onset of autumn comes the anticipation of winter sport. Many students have been busy trialing for various clubs around the city in a range of codes for Saturday sport.

The trials for our school winter sports teams started today and will continue this week and next. Please ensure you son/daughter have their sports uniform  in school each day with the appropriate gear for the code.

The Parent / Teacher Conferences are well underway this week. We have heard positive feedback already from parents, who have welcomed the opportunity to be part of the target setting process with their child. This is the first of the formal interviews we have this year, The second will be held in Term III. Remember that you can always make a time to meet with your child's teacher at any time throughout the year.

Helpfulness was our virtue last week. We received two wonderful emails from parents who noticed two of our pupils practising this around our school. Congratulations to George Pearse (8B) and Eloise Parkes (8G) for demonstrating helpfulness to children in our community. Thank you also to the parents for taking the time to bring this to our attention.

A reminder that Mufti Day is on this Friday 23 March. All money raised will go towards a charity chosen by BOSS (Board of Senior Students)

Thank you for all your contributions for our Harvest Festival Assembly.  All proceeds were gratefully received by the City Mission.

The photographs provide a snapshot of the range of learning taking place in our Prep Schools.
