Junior School Cross-country - A Success!
On Tuesday 8 May the Junior School children enjoyed walking down to North Hagley Park to participate in the annual Cathedral Grammar School Cross-country. This year we added in a novelty component after the main race to further enhance the afternoon focus of physical fitness. The children enjoyed hobby horse racing, an egg and spoon race and the 3-legged race. Below are photos showing the fun.
Wednesday Chapel Celebrates Pentecost
Last Wednesday the children learnt about Pentecost, the Church's birthday at Junior School Chapel. The Chaplain had a cake with candles and gave out a small present to each class to celebrate being a Christian and having Faith in our hearts. Evie and Elisabeth read beautifully from a big book, teaching us about Pentecost and how it came about.
Happy Mother's Day
On Friday 11 May, the Y3 children put on a special Junior School Assembly for their Mum's. The children read out beautiful poems that they had written about their Mother and then treated us all to some lovely portraits and photos of their Mum. Well done Y3 children. You gave your Mum a special moment they will never forget.
