On Wednesday 27 June we had eight runners represent our school at the Canterbury Cross-country event in Halswell Quarry Park.

Congratulations to Jasmine (Y6), Lucy (Y7), Lachlan (Y7), Una, Nicole, Ella and James Lange (Y8) who all ran exceptionally well in their events. Mieka (Y6), also qualified but was unable to run due to illness. 

Some of our runners performed well enough to qualify for the next stage of competition. Jasmine will represent Canterbury at the Inter-Regional Cross-country event in Nelson in September. Nicole, Lucy, Ella and James will be running again next Wednesday against the intermediate schools in the final qualifying round for the same event. Good luck runners, and well done!
