Our Y8 Senior Netballers were presented with special certificates at the Girls' School Leaders Assembly on Tuesday last week by Mrs Marg Foster.

Milly Mitchell, Jemima Pett, Sophia Stewart and Katy Buttle were given special badges for participating in the Motivationz Programme at school since Year 4. 

Many of the netball girls go on to secondary school and continue to play netball up to a high standard. Olivia Clark who left Cathedral Grammar in 2012, has recently been selected for the NZ Secondary Schools' Squad. 

Mrs Foster talked to the girls about the importance of effort and dealing with disappointments. She gave us a good insight into her playing days and experiences as a 13 year old.
