Driver Wanted
Many parents will be aware that the school minibus does a daily run between the Ohoka area and school. The minibus is a service to families who live to the north of Christchurch.

Mr Gavin Manson, our long-serving school van driver, has decided to retire at or near the end of Term II. If you would be interested in this position, please contact the Bursar, Mr Geoff Cain.

Scholastic Book Club
Do not forget to place your Scholastic Book Club orders as the chance to do this finishes tonight at midnight (Wednesday 4 April).

Visible Cyclists
With the end of daylight saving heralding winter’s gloom, those pupils who cycle to school require some form of high viz for their safety – a vest, jacket or a back-pack cover. The Uniform Shop sells covers (complete with a light) which are designed especially to fit the Grammar back-pack.

An inspirational story from one of our parents...

"My original bucket list when I turned 50 only had eight things on it. The Camino was not one of them, but I was inspired by my own parents who walked it in the year 2000 when my Dad was 70yrs and my Mum 60yrs. I wanted to achieve something which would give me both a personal boost and continue a family story. The idea to walk the Camino very quickly became the most important thing not on my bucket list. I've been planning and saving for two and a half years. Partly I'm wanting to clear my mind, partly fulfil the travelling bug, partly create new important memories with my son, Matt, who is walking it with me, and partly it's faith. I am not sure what the Camino will bring but I'll do my best! As they say in Spain...Buen Camino."
