Mrs Teresa Kundycki-Carrell —

Do you want Baptism for your child/children or yourself?

Reflecting on Term 2 there are many things to celebrate. In our RE lessons we have learnt about Pentecost and the Holy Spirit - Te Wairua Tapu; Images of God - Te Atua in the Old Testament (see photos at the end of this article for 7B's illustrations); The Nicene Creed; and Prayer - Karakia.

Our Chapel Services continue to be a time when we learn about living in ways that show we think of others and not just ourselves; we pray and we worship God - Te Atua in song - waiata. Two highlights have been the presentation of surplices to Choir members - Jason to the Boys' Choir and Qiaoyu, Alice, Natalie, Alisa, Lexi , Georgina, Abbey, Serena, Joy, Chloe, Poppy, Stuti and Alice to the Girls' Choir. Please join us for Chapel, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at 8:40-9.00am.

Looking ahead to Term 3

Our Cathedral Service for Term 3 is on Sunday 9 September at 4.30pm. This has traditionally been a baptism service. If you would like your child/children baptised, please be in touch with me as soon as possible so that we can go through a course of preparation. If you would like to find out more about what baptism involves, without any obligation, please contact me.
