Mid-Winter Christmas Grotto - Thursday 14 June, 1:30pm - 3pm

This term the Junior School have been learning about Christmas in the Northern Hemisphere. We have been looking at the similarities and differences between the Southern and Northern Hemisphere. We have had guest speakers come along to talk to us about their own Christmas Day experiences in the Northern Hemisphere. Thanks so much to Ineke, Terri and Brigit for giving up their precious time to come and speak to our children.

As part of our Enterprise unit this year we will be creating a Mid-Winter Christmas Grotto within our Junior School. It will be on Thursday 14 June at 1:30pm. Everyone is warmly invited to come and buy our Christmas products. All profit will go to children's charities. The Y7 Girls will also be joining us and selling sustainability products. There will be more advertising over the next couple of weeks. 

Last Thursday morning Reverend Jolyon White came to speak to the children about the importance of Service. He spoke about what he does and why he does it. It was a valuable message for the children to hear about the unfairness in our world and how they all have the power to make a difference. This links nicely in with our Enterprise unit this term.
