More than one in three young people have experienced some form of harmful on line communication. The conversation about internet safety is an important one to have! 

Netsafe’s Staying Safe Online: A Quick Reference Guide contains advice to help parents and students use sites such as Instagram, Snapchat, Google and Facebook safely. Netsafe also has a service available to help if cyberbullying and online harassment does occur. Whānau can contact Netsafe via this online form for help.

This is an issue that the School is conscious of, we will address this in partnership with families and will call on expertise of agencies such as Netsafe and the police if necessary. John Parsons will again visit the school in 2017 to present to boys, staff and the community.
