Open Night Draws Large Numbers

Steve Fraser —

School closed early on Tuesday 24th to allow staff and students to prepare for Open Night which ran from 4:00pm-7:00pm.

Such was the turnout from the public that tours of the school began well before 4pm to relieve pressure in the main foyer.

Over 360 boys and 50 staff contributed to the night with students participating in classes, demonstrations of work or acting as tour guides. Over 650 families were shown through the school during this time, causing congestion in some areas, but feedback from these groups again centred on the academic focus of the school, the respect and courtesy of the boys and the positive relationships between staff and students.

The School looks forward to many of these eager young Year 7 and Year 8 boys joining us in the future.
