Year 10 Camps Complete

Dave Bone —

The year 10 Camps have now come to an end for 2016. Horizons have done a great job of organising and running the camps.

Their instructors were enthusiastic and well prepared. The boys have been challenged and extended on their four days away. I would encourage you to challenge them to continue to help out at home. They have learnt to be self sufficient, prepare and cook meals and even pack their bags. This can be continued at home as part of their personal growth and development.

Here is a link to a few photos taken by staff who attended the camps. Some of the views from Helicopter Hill in particular, were spectacular.

Speaking of packing their gear I do have some left over clothing. If your son is missing gear it may well be in my office.

I would also like to thank the staff that went on camp with the classes. Without their time and effort the camps could not run.
