These trips are part of the Junior Outdoor Education programme. The students and accompanying staff have a fun and educational day at Mt. Hutt Skifield. These will occur during Term 3. Please complete and submit the form below by 25th July 2018.

Travel:

Students travel in Buses. Buses leave the Te Kura Street gates, (short street off Straven Rd) at 6.30am, be there 15 minutes early at 6.15am. We return about 5.30 – 6.00pm

Cancellation:

In the event of cancellation due to weather, a message will be posted on the school’s Facebook site and on the school Twitter feed. If you are in doubt about the weather, check the post before you leave home, no post means the trip is on.

Cost:

Unless students have a season pass, every student will be invoiced $80. The cost of transport, ski or snowboard hire, helmet hire and lesson. Lessons are part of the school package and must be taken by all students irrespective of ability and experience with the exception of season pass holders.

As this is a curriculum related expense, the cost of the trip will be placed on your son's school account at the start of July.

What to bring in a sports bag:

• Warm Hat
• Helmet
• Waterproof jacket
• Waterproof over trousers
• Waterproof gloves
• Spare socks
• Sunglasses or ski goggles
• Sunscreen
• Drink bottle - large
• Food: lunch/snacks – you can buy food on the mountain, but it can be expensive.

Please note: once you have hit SUBMIT your information has saved. Google forms have added a feature that says you will get a confirmation email. This will not be the case please only submit the form once. The school may send you more then one email this will be a reminder for those that have not completed the form. If you have completed the first form, there is no need to do it again.
