How to Study

Student and parent feedback has raised concerns about HOW to study and what specific actions count as study. Often when I ask students they will say, 'Read my notes" in response. However, that is 'passive' study. We want our students to be 'active' when they study. Attached is a simple framework for taking an 'active' approach to study based on CAPs.

  • STEP 1 - know your CONTENT
  • STEP 2- know what ACTIONS you have to do in exams
  • STEP 3- combine your CONTENT with the ACTIONS and PRACTISE

Here is a guide to the different 'active' things you can do at each Step in our HOW TO STUDY GUIDE
