As you will all be aware Christchurch Boys' High School is currently in the process of rebuilding the school. As a consequence, there are more classrooms, and also the bike stands, at the western end of the school.

This has increased the number of students entering the Kahu Road gate by the Tennis Courts where the bikes are stored.

We have concerns about the safety of our students at this entry to the school due to the volume of traffic at certain times of the day.

We have noticed an increasing number of parents dropping their sons off and picking them up after school directly outside this entry point. This is causing further congestion.

It would be great if parents who do drop off or collect their sons from school could avoid this gate. Alternatively, down the street a bit further away would really help the situation.
