On the evening of June 29th, Year 11 students from took part in the annual interschool Canterbury Mathematical Association Calculator Competition. In the teams event, our A team consisting of Rio Ogino, Jack Chapman, Jaeyoon Kim and Alex Goodenbaur finished 2nd equal, just one point behind the winning team, in the teams event. 

The B team finished 5th. In a second competition, requiring speedy and accurate mental arithmetic, Jack Chapman ended up the winner, so it was a very successful night for CBHS students.
