CBHS Board of Trustees - Supporting Students Success Through Strong Governance
The Board of Trustees at CBHS is dedicated to the continual improvement of student progress and achievement, fostering an inclusive and supportive educational environment
To ensure the school performs effectively, the Board is committed to a strong governance framework grounded in both legislative requirements and best practice.
Michael Singleton, Chairperson of the Board, is passionate about CBHS’s role in shaping fine young men prepared to thrive in a dynamic and evolving world. The current Board comprises five parent trustees, a staff trustee, a student trustee, the Headmaster, and one co-opted trustee.
The ongoing strong interest from the community in participating on the Board has significantly contributed to CBHS’s effective governance. Board elections are scheduled for September 2025, and CBHS community members are warmly encouraged to stand. The value of diversity in its membership is strongly supported by the Board.
If you are interested in standing for the Board or being considered for co-option, please contact Michael Singleton at trustees@cbhs.nz.
Together, the Board, school leadership, and staff are committed to developing fine young men for a modern world filled with both opportunity and challenge.
