We have received information from the Secretary of Education at 5:39 pm and can update the school community about our plans.

Most importantly we pass on our aroha and concern for everyone in the community at this time. Thank you for making decisions that have the interests of others at the centre.

As per previous communications the school website will be the essential source of information for school related matters and we will also email you when there are important updates. 

We do understand that there are higher priorities than school  and we encourage everyone to look after health and wellbeing before learning.  

School is closed from tomorrow (Tuesday the 24th of March 2020) the exception to this is for the son's of essential workers who may come to school on Tuesday the 24th of March 2020 and Wednesday the 25th of March 2020. If your son will be attending school please email boned@staff.cbhs.school.nz. The boys will start the day in the Library. 

School holidays will start early from the 30th of March until the 14th of April inclusive. 

Remote learning has not yet started. We are giving the boys and staff time to get ready and take care of pressing matters at home. There is no value in placing pressure on anyone at this time. We will let the boys know when remote learning starts. Remote learning information is here.

If boys need to contact a Guidance Counsellor they can do this from home and make a time for a remote counselling session. The information about how to do this is here.
