Top Achievers from CBHS in the ICAS Science Competition

This year 980,000 students from the Oceania region participated in ICAS (International Competitions and Assessments for Schools) competitions and assessments. From our school 142 students took part in the Science Competition held in May.

Of those that took part, 5 students were placed in the top 1% of participants and received High Distinction Certificates, 29 students were placed in the top 10% receiving Distinction Certificates and 35 students were placed in the top 25%, gaining Credit Certificates.

Those that received High Distinction or Distinction Certificates are named below and their achievement was acknowledged by their peers in assemblies this week.

Year 9:
High Distinction: Harry Reece and Jacob Hartshorn.

Year 10:
